Adventure Tent Camping

Adventure Tent camping at Phipps Park Campground offers an ideal escape for reconnecting with family and friends, filled with outdoor adventures and quality time together. Experience a magical night under the stars! Wake up to the serene sights and sounds of nature at one of the region's most picturesque campgrounds. 

Our Adventure Tents cater perfectly to beginners or those seeking a hassle-free camping experience. Each site features a 10x10 canvas tent equipped with insect protection screens, a grill, a picnic table, a fire pit, and stunning water views. We also offer two ADA-accessible tents. Availability: Adventure Tents are available from November 1 to May 31.

Adventure Tent camping is limited to a maximum stay of 14 days within a consecutive 6-month period. Reservations exceeding this limit will be canceled and are non-refundable.

Please consider: There is no vehicle access to the Adventure Tent sites. There is also no access to electricity or water at these sites. Please ensure your equipment is powered by batteries or solar energy.

  • Air mattress or sleeping bag
  • Pillows and blankets
  • "Nature Sounds" app for immersive nature ambiance
  • Cooler stocked with food and drinks (don’t forget the s’mores!)
  • Ice or ice packs
  • Battery or solar-powered headlamps or flashlights (no electricity in Adventure Tents)
  • Toiletry kit
