Using the Gaming Consoles
MCLS offers a variety of gaming consoles for use at the library. By offering access to a variety of video game consoles, the Martin County Library System supports age-appropriate digital literacy development, while also fostering skills such as communication, leadership, problem-solving, conflict resolution, empathy, and imagination.
Gaming, particularly in a group setting, provides engaging and educational experiences for patrons, fostering creativity, social connections, and a love for learning via interactive and immersive activities.

Gaming consoles and equipment are available on a first-come, first-served basis. When you visit the library, see the Information Desk to check out the console or controller and use while you're here. Most games are digital, and we welcome input on additional games.
