Beginner Adult Ukulele Series

Join the fun! This is a beginning 6-week ukulele course for adults. Please register for each session. Bring your own ukulele (no baritone ukes).

This is an Intermediate 6-week course to playing the ukulele, for adults. We will meet for 1-hour lessons, once a week. Registration is required. Students will need their own soprano, concert, or tenor-sized ukulele (These lessons will not include the baritone-sized ukulele).

Students will learn:

• Brief history of and types of ukulele
• Care and tuning of the ukulele
• Basic strum patterns
• How to keep a steady rhythm
• Three basic chords
• Hear and anticipate chord changes against a melody
• Two or three basic songs
