Barbershop Books

Barbershop Books is a nonprofit organization that creates child-friendly reading spaces in barbershops and provides early literacy training to barbers. This program began in Martin County in July 2022, thanks to funding by an American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant from the Martin County Board of County Commissioners.
