Phipps Park Campground sits along the Okeechobee Waterway and is a 55-acre conservation and campground area. The campground provides great opportunity for fresh and/or saltwater fishing, and is open year round. Campers also appreciate the waterfront view that many of our campsite locations provide.

Adventure Tent camping is a fantastic getaway that allows you to reconnect with family and friends, spending quality time together while having fun with a variety of outdoor activities.

Our Adventure Tents are perfect for those who are just starting to experience camping or would like to avoid the hassle of setting up a tent. All sites include a 10x10 canvas tent with insect protection screens, grill, picnic table, fire pit and breathtaking water views. We also have two ADA tents available.

Adventure Tent camping is limited to a maximum of 14 days within a consecutive 6-month period. Reservations exceeding this 14-day limit will be cancelled and are not eligible for a refund.

Adventure Tent Rates:

  • Nov. 1 – April 30: $45.00 plus tax/per night 
  • May 1 – Oct. 31: $35.00 plus tax/per night 

Please Consider:

There is no vehicle access to the Adventure Tent sites.  There is also no electricity or water currently available at the sites. Please make sure your equipment is battery or solar powered.

RV Sites

RV Sites

Phipps Park has 58 waterfront sites and 41 interior sites, for a total of 99 RV (recreational vehicle) sites equipped with 20/30/50-amp electric service, water and sewer hookups, a picnic table and a fire pit. RV camping is limited to a maximum of 90 days within a consecutive 300-day period. Reservations exceeding this 90-day limit will be cancelled and are not eligible for a refund.

Waterfront RV Site Rates with Electric:

  • Nov. 1 – April 30: $60.00 plus tax/per night
  • May 1 – Oct. 31: $50.00 plus tax/per night

Interior RV Site Rates with Electric:

  • Nov. 1 – April 30: $50.00 plus tax/per night
  • May 1 – Oct. 31: $45.00 plus tax/per night

Reservations

To book a reservation online or modify a reservation, select from the buttons below. Reservations must be made 24-hours in advance of arrival to allow time to provide the gate code for park entry after hours.

Cancellations, date transfers and refunds must be made fourteen (14) days prior to the reserved arrival date. No refunds or transfers will be granted for cancellations or transfers made less than 14 days from the arrival date.  This means you lose your reservation payment.

  • A $25 cancellation fee will be applied to the refund request for campsites with reservation dates lasting between 1 and 14 nights.
  • A $100 cancellation fee will be applied to the refund request for campsites with reservation dates lasting between 15 and 29 days. 
  • A $300 cancellation fee will be applied to the refund request for campsites with reservation dates that are 30 nights or greater.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by contacting Phipps Park Campground via email at phippspark@martin.fl.us. All requests must be accompanied by the reservation email receipt, site number and name of the person who made the reservation. 

In the event the Campground closes due to Tropical Storms, Hurricanes, or required maintenance, customers will receive a refund for the duration of the closure.

  • Same day reservations must be made by 5 p.m.
  • The front gate opens at 6 a.m. and closes at 7:30 p.m. Campers are provided a gate code to enter and exit the park after hours. Campers are responsible for opening and closing the front gate for their visitors who arrive after 7:30 p.m.
  • The use of Adventure Tent camping and RV sites is restricted to recreational use only.

  • 90-Day limit for RV camping within 300 consecutive days. Any reservations made over the 90-day maximum will be cancelled and will not be eligible for a refund.

  • 14-Day limit for Adventure Tent camping within a 6-month period. Any reservations made over the 14-day maximum will be cancelled and will not be eligible for a refund.

  • Campsites shall be maintained in a neat and orderly condition.
  • Overnight storage of recreational vehicles, boats, trailers and other vehicles is not permitted except with an active overnight camping permit and physical presence of the registered camper. Maximum of two vehicles per site.  A trailer or motorcycle may be kept on site in place of the second car.  Additional camping units and vehicles will require an additional campsite reservation and/or fee.  Boat trailers must be left at the south side of the boat ramp locked and secured.
  • Campers must be able to provide proof of registration for all vehicles and trailers upon request.
  • Use of screws and nails is not permitted in trees or park property.
  • Use of pallets or scrap lumber for firewood is not permitted.
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
  • Laundry room hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • All persons must comply with Federal, State & Local laws.
  • Campsites shall be maintained in a neat and orderly condition.
  • Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
  • Payment must be made in advance. The Park expressly prohibits the use of campsites without payment. If camping fees are not paid within 24 hours after the allocated registration time, camping equipment will be stored at the owner’s expense.
  • No smoking within 50 feet of all buildings.
  • Campsites are designated to hold a maximum of six (6) people.
  • Additional camping units and vehicles will require an additional campsite and/or fee.
  • Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children.
  • Inform the Park Supervisor if you plan to be away from your campsite overnight.
  • Washing dishes or laundry in the bathrooms is prohibited. 
  • Washing or repairing vehicles in the park is prohibited. 
  • Transporting black or gray water is prohibited except in an approved container. Please use dump station for disposal.
  • Lines/ropes are not permitted to be tied to trees.
  • Fireworks are prohibited in the park.
  • Golfing in the park is prohibited. 
  • There is a limit of two pets per campsite. Pets must be kept on the campsite or be restrained with a leash six feet or less. Pet owners must be able to show proof of vaccinations and licenses upon request. Pet waste must be picked up by owners, consistent with Section 9.92.B., General Ordinances, Martin County Code. Section 9.90, General Ordinances, Martin County Code regarding animal restraints, is strictly enforced.
  • Pets are not allowed overnight at the Adventure Tents area.
  • All persons must comply with Federal, State & Local laws. The person registering is responsible for seeing that all members of his or her party and guests obey park rules. Failure to observe and comply with park rules, County ordinances or laws may result in forfeiture of camping privileges.

Please take proper precautions to secure your property/equipment as Phipps Park will not be responsible for thefts or damage.

Check-in time starts at 3pm and checkout time is before 11am. You can easily check in and out online using the guest portal (provide link), or simply stop by the office to inform our staff.

The front gate opens at 6 a.m. and closes at 7:30 p.m. Campers are provided a gate code to enter and exit the park after hours. Gate and restroom codes are sent automatically to the email on file once a reservation is completed online, as well as the day your reservation starts. If you are staying for more than a week, you will get new codes every Monday via email.

Yes, furry friends are welcome! You can bring up to 2 vaccinated pets to your campsite. Please keep your pets on a leash and remember to clean up after them. However, please note that dogs are not allowed in the adventure tent area.

No, the only tent camping we offer is the adventure tents that are available for rent.

Use firewood only. Firewood is available for purchase at the front office using credit or debit cards. Please refrain from burning pallet wood, cans/glass bottles, or trash.

Guests are allowed 2 vehicles or a vehicle and trailer in addition to their camper/RV. Park in the gravel area only. Additional parking is available at the front gate and pavilion area.

Yes, you can bring your boat! You can park your boat and trailer on your RV site or at the boat ramp.

During park hours, the gate is open. Campers are responsible for opening and closing the front gate for their visitors who arrive after 7:30 p.m.
