Secondary Urban Service District

Many people know that Martin County has strong urban services district policies. However, it is important to note the difference between the Primary and Secondary Urban Service Districts.  Staff has developed a list of "Frequently Asked Questions" and answers to inform and assist members of the community.

The frequently asked questions include maps showing the geographic locations of the Secondary Urban Service District. For citizens that wish to study the subject of utility services in the Secondary Urban Services District, two ordinances that made substantial changes are also listed. 

Staff analysis of the most recent changes is also included as a support document to Ordinance 965. The Board has identified further consideration of the Secondary urban Service District as a Strategic Objective.
