Open Road Property Eligibility
Request relating to property access to or from a legal-open public road for building permit eligibility pursuant to Section 4.843.K Land Development Regulation. The county is not responsible to address access inquiries not related to a legal-open public roads or solely on private lands and should first seek professional, legal, land-title or real-estate advise.
To determine if your lot directly fronts an open road, click on the "Permitted Open Roads Map" via the button below and search for your parcel. If you would like a formal determination provided by the county, click the "Open Road Frontage Determination Application" and submit it to the Survey Division of the Public Works Department at 2401 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida 34994.
