The Baby Café is a place for moms and pregnant women to receive one-on-one as well as peer-to-peer support during their breastfeeding journey. A lactation consultant is available as well.

Interested in using the Glowforge, a 3D laser engraver? Join us for this 60-minute introductory lesson.
We'll cover the basics like what materials to use, how to make (or buy!) a digital file, and how to safely operate the machine. All supplies and materials are provided!

Teen Game Night
If you are a teen who loves gaming, drop by the Exploration Lab for a fun gaming night with the Nintendo Switch and board games.

Language Exchange Class
Join us for a chance to meet people from different cultural backgrounds and swap languages in a fun, flexible, and relaxed way! All backgrounds and languages are welcome! No registration required.
In this program, we attempt to pair you with a buddy who is a fluent speaker of a language of your choice and who wants to learn a language that you can fluently speak.
Beginner Adult Ukulele Series
Join the fun! This is a beginning 6-week ukulele course for adults. Please register for each session. Bring your own ukulele (no baritone ukes).
This is an Intermediate 6-week course to playing the ukulele, for adults. We will meet for 1-hour lessons, once a week. Registration is required. Students will need their own soprano, concert, or tenor-sized ukulele (These lessons will not include the baritone-sized ukulele).
Students will learn:
- Brief history of and types of ukulele
- Care and tuning of the ukulele
- Basic strum patterns
- How to keep a steady rhythm
- Three basic chords
- Hear and anticipate chord changes against a melody
- Two or three basic songs

Martin County's Children's Librarians love to read, but they also love to sing and dance! Join us for a story and early literacy activities.
According to Every Child Ready to Read @ Your Library, singing, talking, and playing are also important for developing early literacy skills. This interactive event may use bubbles, scarves, hand-held instruments or shaker eggs, loud music, and more. All adults are encouraged to participate with their children in this fun early literacy activity. Families are welcome!

Drop-in American Mahjong
An open game play for players of all levels with an understanding of the basics. Sponsored by the Friends of the Martin County Library System, Inc.
The National Mahjong League current card and rules will be used for a 3-4 handed play. Bring a current card and set if you have one.
Intro to the Sewing Machine
Want to learn how to use our sewing machine? Join us for this one-on-one tutorial where you'll get hands-on experience learning the basics of the Brother SE400 sewing machine.
You'll get hands on experience learning the basics, including how thread the machine, select different stitch types, and change different feet on the machine.

Unicorn Story Time 0 - 3 Years
Join us for a celebration of all things unicorn. We will be having a unicorn themed story time, coloring unicorn pictures, and even taking pictures with a unicorn!
