Back-to-School 2024 Sales Tax Holiday
Florida's back-to-school sales tax holiday takes place Monday, July 29 through Sunday, August 11. And while the Martin County School District is providing school supplies for each student this year, you may want to take advantage of the holiday to gather any other needs!
After-School Programs
Don't miss out on enrolling your child in FREE after-school programs at one of three convenient locations - space is limited! Youth who live in Martin County and attend a Martin County elementary, middle or high school are eligible. Martin County Parks and Recreation After-School Programs are proudly supported by the Children's Services Council of Martin County.
Hurricane Preparedness
Hurricane season begins June 1 and ends November 30. Martin County would like to remind residents about the importance of being prepared should a hurricane threaten our area. Review our hurricane preparedness page for information and resources.

The Martin County Art in Public Places (AIPP) program invites you to unleash your creative vision through the Martin Murals Program! Murals do more than adorn our public spaces—they ignite tourism, nurture civic pride and drive economic growth. Successful applicants can receive up to $7,500 for their projects! Did you know that Martin County has year-round landscape irrigation conservation measures in place? These measures limit landscaping and lawn irrigation in unincorporated Martin County to two days a week and include restrictions on times watering is allowed.
